Description
Description
At just 18kg, Trek FX+ 2 is a very lightweight electric city bike, designed to make everyday rides faster and more fun.
Smooth ride
Trek has developed an electric bike that lets you cruise over asphalt comfortably. A comfortable but sporty riding position, smooth motor and good disc brakes provide comfortable kilometres in the busy city.
Looking for an e-bike that gets you from A to B easily and quickly? Check out the Trek FX+ 2.
Trek FX+ 2 is the most lightweight city bike Trek has ever produced. The lightweight frame makes for a highly manoeuvrable bike, and makes it easy to lift up and down the stairs. The larger part of the cables are integrated into the frame, where they are well-protected from the elements. Therefore, this bike requires little maintenance. Furthermore, this electric city bike comes with an aluminium front fork, which dampens the worst bumps in the road, so that you can finish your rides comfortably.
E-bike technology
This bike's assistance is provided by a rear hub motor. This motor has three assistance levels and two sensors to make assistance feel as smooth as possible. The motor has a torque of 40Nm, which allows you to effortlessly ride over a flyover or through the wind. This bike comes with a 250 Wh battery, which enables you to travel about 50 kilometres. The motor is controlled by the operating system located at the handlebars, allowing you to keep your hands on the handlebars.
Shifting and brakes
This city bike has a Shimano 9-speed cassette. This gives you a great gear range that allows you to cycle comfortably on flyovers or hills. The brakes are the reliable Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. These disc brakes deliver a powerful braking performance and are easy to modulate. In addition, these brakes perform very well in bad weather conditions, which makes the bike very suitable for daily commuting.
A true city bike
Trek has developed a true city bike. It comes with a carrier rack, mudguards and good lighting. The included stand makes it easy to park the bike anywhere. The 40mm wide tyres have a reflective strip that provides extra visibility in the early hours of the morning.
